Student Exercises
Here are some exercises that were assigned to the students. As a
preliminary activity students were asked to make predictions based on what
they already knew about fish and their need for oxygen. The object of
these exercises was to familiarize the students with the concept of
correlation through making graphs using Microsoft Excel, importing these
graphs into ClarisWorks, and writing an explanation of how this information
represented measured differences in related phenomena at several locations
along Big Darby Creek.
